Plastic Tree's Arimura Ryutaro to Release Solo Album

Plastic Tree frontman Arimura Ryutaro has announced that he will release his first solo album on November 23rd.

Titled demo, it will contain eight songs, and it will feature a number of well-known musicians from the Japanese rock scene. People In The Box vocalist Hatano Hirofumi helped with the arrangement of the songs, and te' guitarist hiro, THE NOVEMBERS frontman Kobayashi Yusuke, and Toriishi Ryouta and Takaga Ryousuke from chouchou merged syrups all contributed to the recording process.

The album will be available in three editions, although details on the specific contents have yet to be revealed. Keep your eye on his official website for more updates.

In a message on his website, Arimura stated that this album came about because he realized that he had accumulated a number of song demos not suitable for Plastic Tree that he wanted people to hear. He was also quick to assure fans that he will still be continuing activities with the band.
