New Mini-Album from Rie a.k.a. Suzaku

Metal guitarist Rie a.k.a. Suzaku will release a new mini-album on August 3rd.

Seven Seas is Rie's first fully instrumental release since her 2013 album Kingdom of the Sun. Instead of the usual assortment of guest vocalists, the seven songs feature veteran session musicians including drummer Kawaguchi Senri.

On the eve of the release, Rie will hold the 8th edition of her Instrumental Summit concert series at Kichijoji Silver Elephant. Her backing band will include Neo-Zonk keyboardist Nakagawa Shoko.
