harafromhell's New Single

Rock band harafromhell will release their first single, Matryoshka-san, on December 2nd.

While three of the single's four tracks (Matryoshka-san, Classmate and Akarui Kazokukeikaku) were already released on their 2014 mini-album Faust and demo 13-sai, this single will be the band's first release with nationwide distribution.

Formed in 2011, harafromhell originally wanted to be a punk band. After realizing that they weren't cut out for that style of music, they came to their current sound: a heartfelt, yet eclectic brand of pop rock that draws inspiration from folk and punk, among other genres. Japanese music fans from Canada might remember the band from Next Music From TOKYO vol 5, which brought them across the country in 2013.
