TETSUYA Announces New Solo Singles and 15th Anniversary Plans

On the heels of the news that L'Arc~en~Ciel will release a new single, Wings Flap, in December, bassist TETSUYA has also revealed that he has a number of solo releases in the works.

First of all, he will release two singles, Make a Wish and Time goes on ~awa no you ni~, simultaneously on December 16th. His first solo singles in nearly five years, both will be released in two editions, with the Limited Edition featuring a music video for the title track and live footage. Both Regular Editions will be CD-only.

Make a Wish will have three tracks, including the title song, its instrumental version and a remix of lonely girl. Time goes on ~awa no you ni~ will also have three tracks, including the title song (which is a self-cover of L'Arc~en~Ciel's popular track Time goes on) its instrumental version and a remix of lonely girl.

However, these singles are just the start of a much bigger project. As 2016 will mark the 15th anniversary of his solo debut, TETSUYA has laid out a special plan for the year. In spring 2016, he will release a new single and a PV collection. A fan meeting called "POP☆SECRET Vol.2" at Hawaii will be held in the summer. In the fall, he will release a new album and embark on a nationwide tour, and he'll wrap the year up with a big 15th anniversary live in the winter. More details to come.
