Female-fronted rapcore band Missile Girl Scoot, who originally disbanded back in 2003, suddenly announced this April that they were planning a revival. Now, it has been revealed that they have a live scheduled for July 26th in Shibuya.

Whether it will be a one-off show or the starting point for a longer return is still unknown. Keep your eye on the band's Twitter and Facebook accounts for more updates.

The members of Missile Girl Scoot started activities in 1994 as TACOSS. They changed their name in 1998 and made their major debut in 1999 with the single Fake sista ain't shit!. While they weren't a huge commercial success, their unique sound, which moves freely between rock, hip-hop, ska, hardcore, metal and pop attracted a devoted following, as well as attention from fellow genre-bending bands such as Dragon Ash and Suicidal Tendencies.

The announcement video for the July 26th live can be viewed below.
