Uchu Conbini to Disband

Despite just forming in 2012, Uchu Conbini have already begun to attract plenty of attention from fans and critics alike due to their unique fusion of post-rock and pop. Unfortunately, the band's momentum has come to a sudden halt. They will disband after a last live, EverythingChanges, which will be held at Kyoto GROWLY on March 13th.

In a message posted on their website, the members stated that while they were confident about the music they made, it was selling well, and they began receiving many more offers and compliments from overseas, which even led to them touring Canada last year, their disagreements about their future direction were too strong. After many discussions, the conclusion they reached was that they should disband.

The members' future plans have yet to be revealed, but they thank their fans and staff for their support and hope that they will continue to watch over them in the future.
