Details on Japan Expo USA

An American Japan Expo has been announced to take place from August 23rd to 25th at the Santa Clara Convention Center in California.

Japan Expo first started in Paris thirteen years ago, and is now expanding from Europe to the states for an exciting event packed with a variety of guests and activities.

Kawaii pop unit Dempagumi.inc will be holding panels on the Friday, performing live on the Saturday and signing autographs on all three days.

Video game music composer Iwadare Noriyuki will play live, hold panels and sign autographs on the Friday and Sunday. Iwadare has recorded a special video message regarding his appearance at the convention, which can be viewed below.

Electro-pop gorup 1000say will perform in showcases, hold autograph sessions and panels throughout the convention.

Idol Kikkawa You will perform live on the Friday, sign autographs every day and attend panels on the Saturday. She has also been given the title of "Official Reporter" for the convention. You can view a special message recorded by her below.

There will also be several manga artists and video game illustrators at the convention, including Kozai Yusuke, Sadamoto Yoshiyuki, Iwamoto Tatsuro and Felipe Smith, as well as dance group J☆Dee’Z, anime producer and president of BONES INC. Minami Masahiko, voice actors Ian Sinclair and Michael Sinterniklaas, and husband-and-wife animation and music duo Uruma Delvi.
