All-female rock trio STEREOPONY have announced that they are to disband.

The band will give a final concert, titled Aki no yonaga wa raibu de norikire vol. 2, on October 6th at Shibuya CLUB QUATTRO, in which the members will provide an explanation for their disbandment. For now, the members have each left a message to their fans thanking them for their constant support over this years. You can find the complete message on STEREOPONY's official website.

However, the band has also announced a new project, titled EVANPONY. The project is formed by STEREOPONY's three members AIMI, NOHANA and SHIHO, as well as Evan Taubenfeld, guitarist and producer for Canadian rocker Avril Lavigne.

EVANPONY will release their debut single, Just rock with me, on October 24th. It will be available in two versions, both of which will include the title track and the B-side Namida nante misete yannai by STEREOPONY. The regular edition will be CD-only, while the limited edition will come with a DVD.
