New Tak Matsumoto Album

Guitarist Tak Matsumoto, known for his work with rock duo B'z, has announced the release of a new solo album for June 20th.

Titled Strings Of My Soul, the album will feature thirteen tracks and is mixed by Paul Brown. The song Sukiyaki also features session guitarist Larry Carlton, with whom Matsumoto previously worked for his 2010 album TAKE YOUR PICK, and who has contributed to albums by artists such as Billy Joel and Michael Jackson.

Strings Of My Soul will be available in a regular CD-only edition, plus a limited edition, which will come with a DVD. This DVD will feature music videos and unreleased live footage of Matsumoto's concert in collaboration with the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, which took place at Suntory Hall in July 2004.
