LAB. THE BASEMENT

LAB.THE BASEMENT was formed by cali≠gari's former leader Ao Sakurai after announcing a break from the previously mentioned band. Because of Ao's heavy involvement with singing background vocals while he was with cali≠gari, sometimes people compare LAB. THE BASEMENT to them even if their music was calmer than cali≠gari's right from the start. As the band has evolved into their own solid style, the comparisons should be set aside. They've created a name for themselves, and hopefully, they'll continue to carve out their career in the Japanese indies music scene.
