Tanpopo (dandelion) was the first of the many Morning Musume sub-groups. The line-up changed various times, but in general their songs are catchy pop songs, comparable to Morning Musume's songs but considered a little bit more mature.

Because of that, their songs didn't really break the mold or bring anything new, though fans of Morning Musume will most likely enjoy the music of this group, too.
