GEM - an abbreviation of Girls Entertainment Mixture - was an idol group working under Avex Entertainment's iDOL Street label. The group was founded on Christmas Day 2012, and their style of music was characterized as "saucy girls idol pop". The group's concept was that they aspired to become as polished as precious gemstones, and each member was assigned a gemstone accordingly. GEM disbanded in 2018, with leader Yuki Kanazawa joining sister group SUPER☆GiRLS.
