Pop-rock group the Seeker was founded in 2002 by Daichi Kuroda and Kenichi Ito (ex-Iceman). In the very beginning of their career, the band was simply called K.ITO & D.K, and their first single Sleepless Beauty was featured in the anime "Gravitation."

After changing their name to the Seeker, they published two studio albums. Kenichi Ito left the band in spring 2004 and was replaced by the well-know producer-composer Daisuke Asakura.
