SOFT BALLET was founded in 1986 by keyboardist Ken Morioka and vocalist Ryoichi Endo. SOFT BALLET's music can be described as synthpop and industrial, however with time their style evolved into something more diverse. Their most prominent feature was Endo's voice which was very low and deep and almost operatic. Ryoichi similarly held the same talent, inheriting it from his father who was an opera singer.
