Ryoji Ikeda

Ryoji Ikeda is an internationally known artist, both in visual and sound arts. His minimalist electronic music is made of progressive ambient ranges and of successions of soft or fierce sonorities which are rather concise. He also has orchestrated with a millimetric accuracy, making iterative rhythmical motifs. Additionally, he uses sounds with very high or low frequencies, which are hardly perceptible by the human ear.

His concerts usually mix music and video projection, behind which he prefers to step aside. He's also the author of many works that allow him to study the multimedia and cultural environment of man.
