Boasting a melodious guitar sound and a stylish musical sensibility that was dark and rich with attitude, visual kei band Dolly lured audiences into their elaborate fairy-tale world with their fusion of catchy radiance and a darkly distorted perspective. The quartet had a refined sound from their very first release as the experienced members had already honed their skills in bands such as Clover and Luecie.

Dolly went on hiatus at the end of 2012 to allow the members to pursue other projects.
