Momoi Halko

Born in 1977, Momoi Halko sings upbeat and energetic pop songs that are a perfect fit for the anime series and video games that they are usually paired with. Her nickname “Halko”—her real name being Haruko—comes from HAL9000, the name of the computer in the movie “2001: A Space Odyssey”.

An admitted otaku, she is frequently invited to perform at anime conventions, both in her home country and overseas. She is also known as the "Queen of Akihabara" and the creator of the trendy “Maid Cafes”.
