A charming winter soundtrack.

Until the release of this single in January 2009, titled Memorial Snow/CLOSURE, all TRF fans had to be very patient. It had been nearly a year since the quintet released any new material, but the wait was worth it. Nevertheless, there are five ballads featured on this maxi by TK Rave Factory.

It all starts with Memorial Song, which was used in the program “Kousu clinic” and paired to the beloved track Samui yoru dakara.... The dramatic orchestral music drops in, then just a few seconds later some emotional, mid-tempo synthesizer chords play a soft pop melody. The pop song lives through YU-KI’s sensitive interpretation of the romantic lyrics. KOO raps shortly before the end and livens up the tight mood a bit, and subsequently he raps a fascinating bridge.

Very interesting as well is the second track CLOSURE, which was featured in “EYEFUL HOME." The emotional, dreamy ballad creates a vortex of peace and through the bells in the refrain, the song also gets a Christmas touch. You should simply close your eyes to CLOSURE and float away on the melody. The third track isn’t a new piece of music, it is the “Radio Mix” of Memorial Snow. The differences between the two versions are minimal. The intro is more pop sounding in the "Radio Mix" and some sounds aren’t as classic, but more electronic in style. As for the end, there are the instrumental counterparts of both songs. Here you can totally focus on the music and let the melodies enchant you.

For a small investment you’ll get the perfect winter tune, and you can play it any other time of the year as well. Both songs are enchanting and charismatic and definitely worth the money.
