My Little Lover - Afureru

For her second single under Avex, akko teamed up with her favourite producer Kobayashi Takeshi again. The soft title tune was chosen as the theme song for the drama “Konshuu, tsuma ga uwaki shimasu.“

Afureru presents itself as longing ballad of slow pace and is brimming with feelings. The acoustic tune of the track is very good, counterbalancing this melancholy love song. The second track, Koi no dé jà vu, is a much more cheerful love song, filled with delight due to its bright keyboard chords and the vocals. Through the funky bass and guitar beats, the track remains lighthearted - exactly the right thing for late springtime.
