misono - Hot Time/A.____~answer~

misono was selected to create the song Hot Time in February 2007 for the MTV show “Girls meet Beauty.” When you see the song title and the hot cover, you’re certainly expecting a fast pop tune, but that's not quite what you get.

misono offers something else instead - sensitive, calm ballads, with a background provided by an orchestra. Though she sounds a bit overdone at times, her vocal style fits well with the music. For Hot Time, the focus is on the yearning heard in the melody, and sadness is the emotion on display in the second track. The vocals and the melody harmonize together almost perfectly. And with the instrumental counterparts, you can once again enjoy yourself and hang onto your own fantasies.

Anyone who loves orchestral ballads with a slightly rock element and can overlook the vocals in the first song. While the cover is a bit misleading, the flair of both songs is unique, and it's a must have for the classic loving heart.
