For those who have compared the track lists of single Best and Selection Best Album before, they will have noticed that a lot of songs are the same. But in the case of Selection Best Album, the fans chose their favourite songs from approximately 52 tracks. It seems that the band and fans almost have the same favourites.

This time, the compilation starts with the atmospheric Starry Heavens. From a similar milieu is the somehow familiar sounding faraway; those who know the pop group dream will get a certain feeling of déjà vu. From the third track, with the melodious title Soshite boku ni dekiru koto, the intelligible, calmer and yearning part begins; even the Irish influenced lost angel is no exception. After that you’ll get charmed by for you and its partly familiar bright keyboard sound.

The second half of this best of album is more enchanting in style, even if a lot of ballads - such as Stay in my heart and the beautiful more than a million miles - along with the energetic High-Spirit found their places on the CD. The mood is untouched by this. In fact, the opposite is the truth: the songs seldom get too schmaltzy or too pop and are nicely varied. It becomes the perfect closure for this commemoration album!

If you haven’t bought single Best, you could give Selection Best Album a chance. It's hard to choose which of the two is better because the track lists are almost identical. The quality of the songs on both is very high, and also the basic tone is calm and moving.
