Before departing to South America, LM.C concluded their Japan tour with a colorful live on January 18th.
Entering the hall, one could see the projected LM.C logo spinning around the venue. After a slight delay, the lights in the hall darkened and the SE started playing. Once the red curtains opened, the members made their appearance on stage. In the background, the large, colorful LM.C sign, which was decorated in meticulous detail, could be seen hanging.
Galileo started the set and as the fans jumped energetically, one could feel the floor of the balcony shake - the enthusiasm was high from the start. In Bell the CAT, guitarist Aiji switched places with bassist mACKAz, and they played while interacting with each other. As maya exclaimed "let's strike!" *BOOST BUSTERz* started and had all the fans singing "oh yeah" loudly.
"Tokyo, yeah! Is everyone enjoying themselves? Are you ready to enjoy more? You must not be left with any regrets! You can only be left with memories!" maya greeted the crowd.
During JOKER, while singing "shalala," the fans waved their arms. La Dee Da followed, with numerous monitors being switched on and spinning lamps lighting up the large hall, and they continued into the whirlpool images that decorated the stage during TABOO. In the somewhat nostalgic Haunted House make a Secret, performer DENKI-MAN danced his heart out. During cosmology, the illuminations once again performed wonders, creating the impression that the stage was a starlit sky. During SORA, soap bubbles were blown into the audience and floated up as high as the second floor. maya stretched out his hands to the fans while singing and Aiji performed a skillful solo.
"Tokyo, are you having fun? When today is over, it's going to be lonely but let's enjoy what we have today!" maya said in the MC, to which Aiji added that he is enjoying himself more than the audience might think he is. JUN, the support keyboardist who only joined the band during this tour, confessed, "I am having the best dreamtime!" Support drummer DEATH-O added that the live in his hometown, Okayama, was especially impressive, while mACKAz said that for him the best memory was going to karaoke in Aomori. As this was happening, DENKI-MAN filmed the members with a handy camera, and as the image appeared on the monitors, he took a picture of it for the recently started blog. Concluding the MC, the band toasted "to success!" with a vitamin drink and the show continued.
Headbanging broke out during CRAZY A GO GO, and the list of intense and energetic songs continued with CHEMICAL KING-TWOON,Z-MAN and METALLY, to which the fans stirred and shook their fists, enjoying themselves somewhat aggressively. To the upbeat and catchy OH MY JULIET, the fans sang along loudly to the background vocals. A mirror ball appeared as my girl played, and since the live took place on a Sunday, maya changed the lyrics accordingly, from "Friday night" to "Sunday night." In love me?, DENKI-MAN and his double came out to dance on stage, and caught between them, maya danced along. Following his example, the fans also joined the dancing. During Yellow Beauty, as the crowd waved their hands, they got a chance to hear yet another impressive solo from Aiji. 88 started with the fans singing along, and for bokura no mirai, maya was able to show the full power of his voice.
"This has been a really good tour! There's an overseas tour after this. Aiji, you like foreign countries, don't you? Be impressed by Brazil and such!" said maya in another MC. During BOYS&GIRLS, while screaming "Girls! Boys!" in Japanese, maya heated up the crowd. A big white ball with the logo of LM.C on it and other balls of different colors were thrown into the audience from the stage during little Fat Man Boy; then in JOHN, the two DENKI-MAN appeared once again while maya continued singing, looking down over the audience from a high stand at the back of the stage. Another piece of inventory appeared during the hit song ☆Rock the LM.C☆ - this time it was a large flag bearing the LM.C logo.
Finishing out the live was LIAR LIAR, and as colorful, glittery tape was shot out into the audience, the smiling fans caught and waved the streamers around, enjoying the final song. As both the members and the fans screamed "LM.C SAIKOU (the best)!" the show came to its end.
"This tour was the best! Let’s definitely meet again! From now on, let's make sparkling memories together," said Aiji, and maya added, "I was happy! Come again!" Holding hands, they jumped up and shouted "saikou!" Then, to screams from the masses, they left the stage. After the live was over, a screen appeared above the stage, and a montage of shots taken during this tour was projected, followed by the overseas tour schedule and the announcement of the lives at Akasaka BLITZ on February 21 and Hibiya Yagaidaionngakudo on May 2.
Two days after the show, LM.C left for their tour abroad, and they will surely grow from the experience of a world tour, so definitely keep an eye out for LM.C’s activities in the future.
