LM.C's ~☆Rock the PARTY☆'08~

The foggy venue was packed with people all the way up to the second floor, and was filled with the heat of their anticipation of the show to come. The tickets for the show were sold out soon after they went on sale, and foreign fans could be seen here and there in the crowd, an indicator that LM.C is growing in popularity both in Japan and overseas. The LM.C logo was projected on the back stage, and as the sound effects became louder, the audience started clapping in the flashing light.

maya and Aiji, wearing black costumes, appeared on stage with support members HIRO (bass), DEATH-O (drums), JayKay (keyboards) and DENKI-MAN (performer), and then the live started with Loud_Mucker_Complex. The audience called "Yeah!" and raised their hands all together. Aiji head banged to the rap rhythm. In the following @FUNNY PHANTOM@, maya's fast vocals were like a machine gun over the heavy guitar and bass.

"We finally meet! Are you ready to enjoy yourselves? Let's have a great party today!" After maya's MC, the upbeat song OH MY JULIET started. Fans head banged to the music, raised their hands and called "Hey! Hey!" During the cheerful, jazzy song Bell the CAT, the audience clapped their hands over their heads, and when mR.century started with heavy guitar and bass, they raised their hands and waved them from side to side.

The mood suddenly turned dark as the rolling of thunder rang in the purple light. Haunted House make a Secret started, and maya's sweet voice sounded in the mysterious atmosphere. During this song, which has a mood like a fairly tale, rap vocals were put with the rhythmic sounds, describing a cute but sad story of a ghost boy. When the bright tune marble-s started, clear guitar sounds spread in the yellow light. maya's vocals, sounding a little like a sulky boy, were added on to the reverberations of Aiji's guitar, and the venue was wrapped in a refreshing mood. With the following ballad, -SORA namidairo-, thousands of bubbles flew around dancing in the rainbow light, and the venue turned into a beautiful, fantastic fairy tale world.

"Are you all ready? Let's burn out together!" Aiji shouted and fans answered with their cheers; then they dashed into CRAZY A GO GO. With the following ＊BOOST BUSTERz＊, the audience showed even more force as they head banged all over the venue. Aiji, sometimes looking out over the audience, head banged as he played guitar, his golden hair streaming in the light. maya sang fast rap vocals and stirred the fans up, standing at the front of the stage. When METALLY started, performers holding flash lights appeared on the stage, and shone beams of light into the audience playfully. Fireworks spun above the stage and scattered sparks everywhere in a shower of light. In the bright upbeat Boon!!, fans called "Go! Go! Go!" together, enjoying the show the band was giving them.

"Move as you like! Be free!" maya said, and they performed the fun bright songs JOHN and Sentimental PIGgy Romance in a row. Colorful, cute PVs were projected on the screen, and the audience clapped their hands cheerfully. In the ballad Yellow Beauty, Aiji played a melodious guitar solo, and the venue was flooded with a refreshing feeling.

"Have the courage to walk with us, if only for a little while. Do you like LM.C?" This was asked in the MC that followed, and the audience responded, "I like you very much!" When the catchy bright song 88 started, fans raised their hands and waved them back and forth. This song was made while the group was still dreaming of being able to perform in such a venue, while they were in the country side in Nagano. Bokura no mirai and Tiny Circus followed, and their simple unaffected lyrics reached everyone's hearts.

"I think this is the best time of my life," maya said with artless honesty. "There are many things we can't understand in this world, but we don't have to pretend to understand them. You don't have to be adults! I'll send this song to all of the boys and girls gathering here who can't be adults." As BOYS & GIRLS started, maya, Aiji and all of the members moved around on the stage, enjoying themselves, and this time they were sharing with the fans. In the following little Fat Man boy, huge white balloons appeared in the venue. People hit the balloons up into the air, and the live reached its climax. "Please call your loved one's name for 30 seconds!" maya shouted, and the audience called their names with big cheers. "I wish that this wonderful time would never end." LIAR LIAR, a song with a beautiful, catchy melody, started. Then silver streamers were shot into the air, falling down as they sparkled in the flashing lights. During the last song, ☆Rock the LM.C☆, people called "Rock! Rock! the LM.C!" again and again, pumping their fists in unison.

LM.C's sound and performance were very showy and full of color. maya's character was heartwarming, and Aiji's cool guitar playing never failed to fascinate us all. This, combined with many other charms, lifted up the whole audience, enchanting us until the very end of the concert. LM.C and their happy approach to music are sure to move not only Japanese music fans, but those living all over the world as well.
