A cool, crisp release from Nightmare.

Konoha

NIGHTMARE

Projecting the image of autumn fading into winter, Konoha is a delightful listen for the changing weather. With beautiful vocals and melodies, this single is like the winter season's first snow following the fall of leaves.

Konoha begins with a peaceful piano intro and Yomi's vocals strong, emotional from the get-go. Ruka's drumming is solid without overpowering the powerful bass and guitar work; Sakito's guitar solo is perfect with Hitsugi's rhythm guitar complimenting it. Yomi's voice soars, ever more poignant, before a lengthy instrumental ending brings about a sense of longing to this heartfelt song.

cloudy dayz is the winter following the fall. Yomi's sublime vocals reign over this track with a chilly, wintry atmosphere rushing up from the various elements present. A masterful guitar solo is tangled up in blissfully bold riffs, a deep bass line, and fast-paced drumming. An instrumental break climbs higher and higher, peaking gorgeously just before the song ends.

Just in time for the changing seasons, Konoha is a splendid release from this versatile group of artists. The single is simply outstanding and another taste of the many different things that Nightmare can accomplish with the variety of styles they work with. Watch the leaves turn as winter sneaks up while enjoying this cool release.
