THE FUNERAL FOR HUMANITY

BLOOD

THE FUNERAL FOR HUMANITY, is the second maxi-single of the 'third period' of BLOOD, and the newest release of the band that recently visited Europe for three concerts; two in Germany and one in France. This single contains three songs of great quality and with the characteristic sound of BLOOD: unique melodies with a gothic touch which are created by fu-ki's voice, allows their music to take us to BLOOD's world...

The first song on the single, The Funeral for Humanity, is the title track and a song that fits the name perfectly. Beginning with an intro that gives the song an air of mystery, the guitar joins immediately with fu-ki's voice, strong and clear, coming in with a rapid drum rhythm. This song, sets the stage for Kiwamu to present the listener with some excellent guitar riffs, and fu-ki's voice sounds magnificent. Ending with the sound of a thunderstorm, this track takes the listener on a journey through the world of BLOOD.

Eien wo Samayou Fuku Shugeki no Makuake(SE) is a short, but very beautiful instrumental that features words softly whispered by fu-ki.

I remember you is the third and final song on this maxi single, and begins with a pleasant guitar intro. The bass and drums come in shortly after, followed by fu-ki's lovely voice. A lively, upbeat piece of music, this track showcases Kiwamu's guitar riffs, which stand out amongst the rest of the music. A female voice harmonizes well with fu-ki's for the powerful choruses.

With this new piece of work, BLOOD presents three high quality songs that bring their music to a new level. fu-ki, Kiwamu, and Kaede are three great musicians who deliver equally great music through their unique compositions. Through their music, on can assume that they will continue to improve and gain more success throughout the world.

This maxi single comes with a DVD containing 12 minutes of footage from their concert at the Glaz'Art in France earlier this year.
