KAJI

The base of KAJI's sound is pure rock, mainly influenced by 90's J-Rock, though the band members also mix various other genres into their songs, like pop, hard rock and even jazz.

KAJI is a J-rock band formed in July 2011 in Sapporo. Though vocalist Kayte and drummer Koji are the only members left from the original lineup, guitarist Shinya had already joined them in 2012 and bassist ASH completed the current lineup in May 2013.

These four guys are pursuing a big goal: becoming the guiding light of the music scene. That is exactly why they chose KAJI as their band name, since it means "guiding" in Japanese.

On their way to the top, KAJI already have two releases out. Their first mini-album Reflection, containing four songs in total, was released in March 2013. On December 16, 2013, it was followed by their first digital release: the single "MOON", which consists of only the title track, but is available for the overseas market via the usual platforms as well. Right now KAJI are in the midst of recording for their first full album, which is scheduled for release in June 2014.

Besides playing many energetic lives—at the beginning of 2014 they performed together with melodic death metal band GYZE and visual kei band Anli Pollicino—the band members of KAJI also make extensive use of TwitCasting to stream rehearsals and talks online. Because of this, but especially thanks to social networks and their numerous YouTube videos, the band has already managed to attract fans throughout Europe, Russia and America.
