CROSSFAITH was formed in November of 2006. They released an EP with three songs in 2008, but had to wait for almost a year to release their first album The Artificial theory for the Dramatic Beauty that came out in April 2009. This album sparked off the Japanese screamo/metalcore music scene which practically had never existed before. CROSSFAITH played many shows across the country and participated in many music festivals, including the biggest Japanese metal festival Loud Park in October 2009.

In 2010 they made first steps in conquering the international music scene: their debut album was released all over Europe via the label Gan-Shin. Meanwhile, the band kept writing new songs and recorded the new album THE DREAM, THE SPACE which was released in Japan on April 20, 2011. After its release, they hit the road and performed many shows, including a tour with Funeral For A Friend. The band also took part in the Summer Sonic rock festival where they played in front of almost 10,000 people.

September 2011 saw the European release of THE DREAM, THE SPACE, which received positive reviews from overseas fans. For the rest of the year, CROSSFAITH toured outside of Japan: they visited China together with Parkway Drive and later joined Alesana for their South East Asia tour.

2012 started with the announcement of the release of a new EP. Titled ZION, it came out at the end of June. In addition to this, CROSSFAITH toured the UK together with Of Mice&Men, Bury Tomorrow and With One Last Breath from April to May.

CROSSFAITH is a rare and genuine Japanese rock band that can be rated high internationally and their quest for artistic imagination goes on and on.
