Lillies and Remains

New wave and post-punk band Lillies and Remains was formed in 2006. The band started as a four-piece band in Kyoto, after vocalist-guitarist KENT, guitarist KAZUYA, bassist NARA MINORU and drummer Kosuke met each other in college.

The band got the notice they needed after releasing their first mini album under FIFTY ONE RECORDS. Moralist S.S. was released in 2008, and it went straight to the Oricon list. Inspired by David Bowie, the band released their first studio album only a year later, proving their worth to the listeners.

In 2010 their mini album MERU hit the markets, and afterwards they obtained their first ticket to travel overseas, where they played one concert in the United Kingdom. A new album, TRANSPERSONAL, was released in Spring 2011, but in the Fall the band hit their first drawback, when the drummer decided to leave the band.

During 2012 Lillies and Remains tried a different approach by releasing a cover album, named Re/composition, where the band covered Britney Spears, Depeche Mode and other music artists.

In 2013 they released only one single, which was sold only in Tower Records' stores. Also, the band played many times with THE NOVEMBERS during the year.

At the beginning of 2014, the band released some info about their upcoming single, LOST. In March they will hit their Lillies and Remains "LOST" Release One Man Tour to promote the single.

Even if the release of Lillies and Remains's CDs is rare, every time one hits the markets they prove themselves by fascinating the listeners every single time.
