MoNoLith

MoNoLith formed in 2006 and held their first live on June 20th at Sendai MACANA. The band proceeded to release their first single, DESERT THEATER, on November 24th that year. In January 2008, MoNoLith released the demonstration single, Nostalgia, which was distributed for free at their first one-man, entitled MONOLITHIC NEO CULT.

Shortly during their second year together, MoNoLith announced they signed to record label Loop Ash, and followed this with two singles released on August 7th. The pair of singles was followed by four more singles. In 2009, they released two consecutive singles in October, which were followed by a series of lives entitled 【PRAY】er's HIDEOUT to celebrate the release.

MoNoLith started the year 2010 strong with a single release in February 2010. This was the first of a two-month consecutive release, the next was the band's first mini-album, entitled fiction. That release was first on sale at their live on March 29th at Hook SENDAI. In June, the band celebrated their fourth anniversary with a one-man live at Shibuya CHELSEA HOTEL, which will be followed by a single in July.

MoNoLith seems to be wasting no time with a non-stop series of releases and events. Let's hope this valuable addition to the visual kei scene continues to gain popularity thanks to their hard work and playful combination of oshare and visual kei aesthetics.
