Mayu, Rei and Kazami were all previously in the band Clavier. DaizyStripper originated when Yu-giri, who had been wanting to form a band, approached Mayu directly after one of Mayu's shows as he was putting away his guitar. Finding that the music they listened to was similar, they decided to try their hand at making music together. Mayu spoke with bassist Rei and, after deciding they wanted twin guitars, Rei asked one of his acquaintances, Nao, to join. The four members made a demo tape and sent it to drummer Kazami, who after hearing it along with Yu-giri's voice, felt that was his ideal band. And so in March 2007, DaizyStripper was formed. They played their first live in June and have since performed with an assortment of other bands in the visual kei scene.

Released in February 2008, DaizyStripper's first release was a CD+DVD single titled Dandelion, whose title track was a message to fans describing their excitement about taking the stage for the first time. It entered at number ten on the Oricon Indies Chart and sold out immediately, resulting in the decision to release a second pressing, which made it to number one on the charts. The band was soon featured on TV and in several magazines, their popularity growing steadily.

In May, DaizyStripper had the great opportunity of performing in front of a huge audience at Ajinomoto Stadium for the hide Memorial Summit. They then had their first one-man live, Stripper's Kingdom, on June 6th at Shibuya BOXX. That month they released a two-CD set called CROSS, and in September embarked on a tour of the Osaka-Nagoya-Tokyo circuit called [CROSS] - Gekijou Trip/Ryuusei Trip.

In August DaizyStripper made their American debut, performing at the major anime convention Otakon 2008 in Baltimore, Maryland. A couple of months later, their single TRUTH made it to first place on the Oricon Indies Single Chart, and 35th on the Oricon Major Chart, an impressive feat.

The year 2009 saw the release of a new single called Dearest in June, followed by the band's one-man countrywide tour, Beauty Brightness, in July and August. In autumn the band released a live DVD and a mini-album titled THE BEAUTY and took part in the popular event V-ROCK FESTIVAL. In March 2010, Frantic EMIRY, DaizyStripper’s newly formed dark alter-ego band, released a single titled World End. DaizyStripper, after releasing the single Harumeku bokura, held the tour, LOVE AFFAIR.

On August 11th, DaizyStripper released the albums BIRTH and LOVE, and the beginning of the 2011 saw the release of a live album titled BIRTH or LIVE?. During this time the band also took part in recording the cover album, Crush! 90's V-Pop Best Hit Cover Songs, on which they made a cover of La’cryma Christi’s song With-you. The band released quite a few CDs the same year and also made an appearance on V-ROCK FESTIVAL ’11.

Even though DaizyStripper already released an album titled SIREN in October 2011, it was only a mere three months later in January 2012 that saw the première of another album, Air. In May, the group took part in recording another compilation cover album, this time covering the popular hit from the anime "Kuroshituji," Monokuro no kiss. Three months later in August, a mini-album titled HUMANLOID was released.

The year 2012 was also a year of overseas performances — the band appeared during the Japan Expoin Paris, France in July and held two lives in Korea in August. To wrap up the year, they put out a new single and live DVD.

For 2013, DaizyStripper has already planned a five-month consecutive release campaign, linked with five one-man lives each month.
