In 1995 the 22 year-old college student BONNIE PINK was discovered at one of her performances by a scout of the label Pony Canyon. Afterward, she debuted with her single Orange followed by her first album Blue Jam. That album caught the attention of Tore Johannson, a Swedish producer who soon produced her albums Heaven's Kitchen and Evil and Flowers. Both albums were released between 1996 and 1998. Heaven's Kitchen was produced entirely in Sweden.

BONNIE PINK hoped to find inspiration in Sweden but instead developed depression and moved to New York after the release of her album to work together with producer Mitchell Froom. This is where her fourth album Let Go was recorded. PINK soon established herself as a capable co-producer and songwriter.

In 2003 PINK moved to London to work on her fifth album under her new label Warner. Her time in London and New York had a great influence on the lyrics of BONNIE PINK. The English language suddenly began to contribute a great deal to her songs.

In the following years she released more singles and albums, but never gained much attention until 2006. In that year BONNIE PINK released her single A Perfect Sky which hit number 2 in the Oricon charts. The effect was her Best of... album being sold out in no time. In November BONNIE PINK worked together with hip-hop giant m-flo resulting in their single Love Song.

The following year, along with a country wide tour throughout Japan, BONNIE PINK released the album Thinking Out Loud which sold out nearly immediately. Her tour ran straight into 2008, and soon after she participated on a various artists album made by m-flo. Later that year she recorded Ring a Bell which was the theme song for the American XBOX 360 game "Tales of Vesperia". While the original version was never recorded to CD and was only available for digital download, she later recorded a Japanese counterpart to the song, Kane wo Narashite which debuted in August.

Over the next two years, BONNIE PINK had several single and album releases, including Dear Diary and Joy/Happy Ending. In July of 2009, she held her tour ONE and continued to perform at a series of festivals before hitting the recording studio in early 2010. By spring she picked back up her performance schedule and in August, appeared at KOYABU SONIC 2010 and WARNER MUSIC JAPAN 40th.Anniversary in October.

While BONNIE PINK has not announced her plans for 2011, fans can be sure to see her again in the new year.
