Everything began a few months after the disbanding of COЯE THE CHILD in April of 2006. Yuuki convinced Shou to create a new band and they were soon joined by Jun on bass, plus Tetsu and Rai (JOKER's Satsuki) on guitars.

UnsraW set up quickly and started performing secretly from July to August, during which they were quickly noticed by Speed-Disk, who would later create a tailor-made visual look for them.

The band was finally presented to the public during a free one-man concert, Gate of Death, which was sponsored by ID Japan on August 23rd. The following week, they released a maxi single, -9-, which contained Warai Oni, a song from COЯE THE CHILD's discography. Being limited to only 1000 copies, the maxi sold out quickly.

Two months later, they released their second maxi-single, which sold out almost as quickly as its predecessor, proving that the band's popularity was steadily increasing. They also provided a song, Dust to Dust, for a promotional CD that was offered with any subscription to SHOXX magazine. Additionally, they were included on the omnibus album, Graceful Playboys vol. 1, with the song Maria, another cover of a COЯE THE CHILD song.

Their first mini-album, which compiled their first two singles, was released in December 2006 and was preceded by their one-man, Spiral Mind. Both versions of the mini-album quickly sold out during the pre-order period and were re-released in January with three additional songs, making the re-release, Spiral Circle Complete, their first full studio album.

During the year 2007, UnsraW released three mini-albums: Calling, ABEL and KEIN. Due to the popularity of ABEL and KEIN, they also sold out and a second press combination album was released, which included the bonus track Eve. Alongside these releases was the Moebeus Stripper tour, which debuted many of the album's songs. After the tour's conclusion, a full DVD of their one-man live in Tokyo was released with the title Screaming Birthday.

In the spring of 2008, Yuuki fell ill with a form of pneumonia, sending the band into hiatus. While many feared this might signal the end of UnsraW, the vocalist persevered and overcame his illness. By the summer of 2009, the group was back in action, celebrating their revival with two lives at Takadanobaba AREA on August 22nd and 23rd. By late September they had also released another single, REBORN, their first original release since 2007.

Now in 2010, the group is preparing for their European tour in February, which will take them to the Netherlands, Sweden, France, and Germany. We look forward to the tour and more activities from this resilient and very talented group.
