Although one may expect that they started as two bands from the beginning, Merveille Magique and Celestia Le Ciel were developed separately.

First was Merveille Magique, which started around December 2001. They started slowly, releasing several demo-tapes. Between December 2001 and February 2002, they released four demo-tapes, starting with Merveille∞Celestial I and ending with Merveille∞Celestial IV.

After another year, the band had their first performance. It was on April 28, 2003, at the Saitama-Urawa Narciss. More concerts followed in the same region and on the first of September, they had their first concert in Tokyo. On the same day, they also released the single Eien no Aoi bara. More performances in Tokyo and around followed, and they released the single Merveille∞Celestial V on December 10th.

While they continued to perform until March 2004, Merveille Magique took a break to give the spotlight to Celestia Le Ciel. After a number of performances, they released their first demo-tape, Celestial in July.

In 2005, it was time for new activities from Merveille Magique, and they released the single Power of Magic in March. A Celestial Le Ciel single followed in April, entitled Memory of the Celestial. The two bands released a coupling album together in December called Fairy Tales of Celestial World.

In December, they performed abroad for the first time at an event in Germany.

From then on, the two bands have not released anything new, but did continue their overseas activities. In 2007, they performed in Germany, Austria and Italy. The following year, they performed in Austria and Italy again.

For this year, the bands are planning a new Europe tour, but they also have plans for a US tour, so you may find these two unique bands performing in your country this year!
