Aliza Marie was created in September 1998 by Kichiku, Hiroki (ex-Lavis de fleur), Satsuki (ex-Dolice) and Takumi (ex-Lavis de fleur). The band didn't reveal itself to a wider audience for awhile, but in December 2001 they joined the label Donuts Records West.

The band started with a number of performances, participating in various events. In March 2002 they released their first maxi-single, Tokumei kobou no otayori.

They continued to perform, sharing the stage with more well known visual kei bands such as Syndrome, Deadman, Blast, D'espairsRay, Shulla, and Merry-go-round, in order to get their name out and attract more fans.

In July, they released their first mini-album, entitled Hanshakai which was followed by the release of the maxi-singles Hakanaki michi hateno sora in October, and Hanayagu michi hateno chi in December.

2003 started pretty well for the band, and in March they performed at the 'Stylish wave '03' event. Unfortunately, Takumi decided to leave the band in the same month, and a few days later he was replaced by Kyohei.

In June, they released their second mini-album, entitled Pallet, which was followed by a short tour. In September, a song of theirs was featured on the compilation album Shock edge 2003, but then silence fell on the band.

They stayed silent for awhile and it wasn't really a big surprise when Aliza Marie announced that they would disband on October 8th, 2004.
