Vocalist Kei and guitarist Shuri (both former Eliphas Levi) started Vinett in August 2002, later joined by Rinka (former Celluloid), Ray (former Aliene Ma'riage) and Katsura (former BAISER.)

Their debut single Twinkle Twinkle was released in August 2003. The single was such a success that the first press of 1000 copies sold out quickly, causing an additional pressing of 500 copies to be made.

On the 3rd of June, 2004, the bassist Ray decided to leave the band and join Nega. However Vinett bounced back in August when Yu~u replaced him and the band released their second maxi-single in the same month. Their first album, Happy followed in October.

Things seemed to go really well for the band, and they announced their first one-man concert. The title was Are you Happy? and was to be held at the Meguro Rock May Kan, on January 21st, 2005. As the one-man event steadily approached, it came as a complete surprise for the fans as the band announced at their concert on December 22nd that they would disband. Thus, their one-man that fans had looked forward to in January was to be their last concert together and after, the band disbanded.

Afterwards, Katsura was the first one to join a new band: Cannival Method, but this band was only short-lived and the petite drummer has left the music scene. Kei and Shuri officially retired from the music scene, and it seemed Rinka had also left the music scene altogether, until he started the band biene in 2007.
