3B LAB.☆S is a five-member band that generally creates punk music. However, their songs aren't as aggressive as some punk songs tend to be, as they also have some pop influences, which makes them a lot softer and gives their music a playful edge.

The origin of their band name is slightly complicated, especially because the band used to be a trio but later changed into a five member band. 3B stands for the original members' blood types, B, so three times B. LAB is an abbreviation of laboratory. The star is added to symbolize their hope for a famous and glorious future. The S was added later when two new members joined the band.
