MOSAIC.WAV has evolved using a mixture of electronic sounds and high-pitched vocals, typical among anime series’ theme songs, Akihabara kei, and AKIBA-POP, a kind of dance/techno music and the genre that the group belongs to.

The name MOSAIC.WAV is taken from mosaics that are used to cover the actors’ privates in Japanese pornographic videos. As MOSAIC.WAV’s popularity increased, they had to change their name, since a group called Mosaic already existed. They then decided to add the suffix, .WAV, taken directly from the famous music format. For lovers of joyful music and Japanese anime, MOSAIC.WAV is definitely a perfect fit.
