More Information on DIR EN GREY's Blu-ray and Remastered Album

Metal band DIR EN GREY recently announced the release of a live Blu-ray as well as a remastered and expanded version of their album UROBOROS for 2012. Further details have now been revealed, and both releases are set for January 11th.

First of all, the Blu-ray, titled UROBOROS -with the proof in the name of living...-AT NIPPON BUDOKAN Extended Cut features DIR EN GREY's performance at Nippon Budokan on January 9th and 10th 2010. This concert was previously released on DVD in May 2010 but is now to be available on Blu-ray, and features the bonus material which was only included in the DVD's limited edition, as well as a multi-angle view option to watch the performance from different perspectives. First press editions will come with an application card, which is only valid in Japan.

Also set for release on January 11th is a remastered and expanded edition of DIR EN GREY's 2008 album UROBOROS. This new version features total of fourteen tracks, including an extended version of SA BIR, a new version of BUGABOO (which was previously only included on the vinyl LP that came with the limited 2CD+1DVD+2LP version of UROBOROS), the Japanese versions of DOZING GREEN and GLASS SKIN, and it will also include the song HYDRA -666-. The new remastering was done by mix engineer Tue Madsen, who worked on the band's latest album DUM SPIRO SPERO, giving the album a new feel. First press editions will come in special packaging.
