Sakamoto Ryuichi has announced various CD and DVD releases for the upcoming months

Composer and musician Sakamoto Ryuichi has announced various CD and DVD releases for the upcoming months.

First of all, the DVD UTAU LIVE IN TOKYO 2010 A PROJECT OF TAEKO ONUKI & RYUICHI SAKAMOTO will come out on November 9th. It will feature footage from Sakamoto and Onuki's concert held at Tokyo International Forum Hall C on December 11th 2010.

Just over a month later, on December 14th, Sakamoto will release a live CD and two live DVDs. The CD, currently titled playing the piano usa 2010 / korea 2011 - ustream viewers selection -, features live performances selected by fans and tracks from his 2011 North American and Korean shows.

The DVD playing the piano in seoul / korea 2011 will feature his Korean performance, which was broadcast via USTREAM, and will come with two discs. playing the piano europe 2009 will feature footage shot in Europe in 2009, including Sakamoto's classic songs Merry Christmas mr.lawrence and the sheltering sky.

In addition to this, a box set titled path_ ryuichi sakamoto playing the piano 2009 - 2011 will also be released on December 14th, including all three aforementioned titles released on the same day. This means that the box set will contain the DVDs playing the piano europe 2009 and playing the piano in seoul / korea 2011, as well as the CD playing the piano usa 2010 / korea 2011 - ustream viewers selection - for a total of four discs. It will also come with a 52-page booklet.
