RYTHEM to Disband

On October 24th, pop duo RYTHEM announced via a live USTREAM broadcast that the unit will disband following their performance on February 27th 2011 at Zepp Tokyo.

RYTHEM was formed by two junior high school friends YUI and YUKA. The unit made their major debut with the release of Harmonia in May 2003 and over their career have produced eighteen singles and four original albums.

Following discussions regarding differences in musical direction, RYTHEM have opted to go their separate ways. Details of each member's plans for the future have yet to be announced, but in the coming months the duo will release their final album RYTHEM on December 8th, which will be followed by a national tour from January 2011 entitled Acoustic PoP Tour'11~Live Tree until their final performance on February 27th.
