Various Rock News: Takeshi Hosomi & Sambomaster

Although there are only a few details available, Takeshi Hosomi, the vocalist of ELLEGARDEN, announced the release of his first solo album for May 27th. This will mark the first release of his solo project, which is set to start in April and will also feature the members Ueno Koji (ex-thee michelle gun elephant), masasucks (J, Fullscratch) and Takashi Koshikura (toe), on guitar, bass and drums respectively. Their first performance will be held at the PUNKSPRING 09, even though the band's name has not been decided yet.

Rock trio Sambomaster announced the release of a new single titled Kimi wo mamotte kimi wo aishite, which will be released on June 10th. The single, their first in a year and a half, will be used as the ending theme to the popular anime series "Bleach". More details will be announced shortly.
