Morning Musume are set to perform in Shanghai on June 28th. The concert they will perform at is part of a series of events being held in order to celebrate their hosting of the Expo 2010, which will be held from May 1st to October 31st. This will be a memorable occasion for Japan, as it will be the first time that a Japanese artist has performed at an Expo.

Also, it has been officially announced that Kimura Ayaka will be leaving Coconuts Musume. As the only remaining original member of the unit, the official announcement via Hello! Project also declared that she would be leaving the agency as of April 30th.

As for the future, Kimura has stated that she wishes to pursue her dreams in becoming an actress, although nothing solid has been announced surrounding this revelation.
