the GazettE Part Ways with AOI

Visual kei band the GazettE announced the removal of guitarist AOI from the band's line-up after 24 years.

In a comprehensive statement posted in English on their official website, the GazettE explained how various issues, such as refusals to tour and a breakdown in direct communication, had ultimately led to a loss of trust within the band.

For his part, AOI disputed the factuality of the statement's claims but refrained to go into specifics. He indicated he will issue a fuller statement in due course.

Meanwhile, RUKI, URUHA and KAI will continue as the GazettE. Back in February, UK-based label JPU Records announced an extension to their overseas distribution deal for the band's existing works.
