Following up on the pre-release track déjà vu, singer-songwriter Reira Ushio released her second EP HB2U on February 25th.
HB2U is said to be centered around songs based on her own real-life experiences and personal emotions, expanding beyond weaving others' stories into her music like she did on past releases.
In addition to previously shared songs such as My Thief, which was featured in the Japanese romance drama series "Today, I Fell in Love – Graduation Arc 2025" and Harenohini, the ending theme for the TV anime series "The Fragrant
Flower Blooms with Dignity", the EP includes a total of 10 songs said to candidly reveal feelings she has never expressed in her music before.
The track déjà vu is said to serve as the EP’s centerpiece and is accompanied by an official music video. On this song, Reira Ushio aims to draw from "moments of hesitation and personal reflection, featuring
sincere and relatable lyrics."
HB2U is available worldwide on digital streaming platforms here.
