Singer and voice actress Nao Toyama has announced that she will be putting her music activities on hiatus in March 2027.
The announcement was made during a solo concert on February 8th, in front of an in-person and live stream audience. She conveyed her message with a letter and requested her fans’ help in making her dream “to reunite with everyone at the Nippon
Budokan” come true. She described her reason for the upcoming hiatus as “a positive decision to deliver a culmination of her decade-long journey and to think about the next phase of her career.” She did not announce when the hiatus will end.
Toyama's final concert before the hiatus will be held at Nippon Budokan on March 11th, her birthday, in 2027. Tickets to the concert will go on sale on March 11th, 2026 at 10:00am (JST).
Furthermore, she will be releasing a new album sometime before the Budokan concert. More details will be announced at a later date.
In addition, a birthday countdown live stream will be hosted on YouTube on March 10th at 11:00pm (JST), where she’ll share more information about tickets and other details regarding her final concert.
