Fukuoka-based trio muque's new digital single "DARK GAME" is out now, along with a music video based on the theme of "Hyakki Yagyō” ("Night Parade of One Hundred Demons").
Fukuoka-based trio muque released a new digital single titled DARK GAME on February 4th. A music video for the track built around the theme of “Hyakki Yagyō” ("Night Parade of One Hundred Demons"), a classic Japanese
folklore concept, has also been unveiled.
Following bassist Lenon’s departure at the end of 2025, muque have transitioned into a three-piece formation. DARK GAME is their first single under this new line-up.
The track opens with dramatic
strings and trap-style beats, aiming to subvert expectations of muque’s previous sound. Built on a hip-hop foundation with sharp, aggressive sound design, the song features lyrics that are said to hint at themes of control,
manipulation and psychological tension.

Set in a city where humans and mythical beings coexist, the music video presents muque
alongside otherworldly figures inspired by Japanese folklore. The dark, cinematic visuals are directed by Ryo Suda, whose previous work includes collaborations with Yojiro Noda, BAD HOP and kZm.
muque have also confirmed the release of their second full album GLHF ("Good Luck, Have Fun") for April 15th. The album title references the gaming slang used to wish opponents well before a match begins. The album
will contain 10 tracks, including songs such as the group's ending theme for the anime series "ONE PIECE", The 1, and the rock track Dancing in my bad life (feat. CLAN QUEEN).
The first-press limited edition will include footage from their sold-out solo concert MUQUE TOUR 2025 ‘RIDE ON!’ @ Zepp Shinjuku.
Starting in March, muque will also embark on their muque LIVE TOUR 2026 ‘GLHF’, which will consist of 14 shows across Japan and five shows across Asia, including dates in Bangkok and Singapore.
