Dance-vocal group LIL LEAGUE released a new album digitally worldwide on February 4th.
Titled NEOMATIC, the album is said to carry the theme of "ushering in a new era of music and performance." The title was chosen to express the group's determination to stand as a defining act of the next generation.
Previously-released tracks featured on the album range from 2024's Youth Spark to the group's latest single Manatsu no Hanabi. The lead track LILMATIC samples Beethoven’s famous composition Für Elise.
The album also includes
Wonder Island, the official theme song of LIL LEAGUE LIVE TOUR 2026 “Wonder Island”, which ran from January to February 3rd this year.

LIL LEAGUE leader SENA IWAKI commented
on LILMATIC and the group's goals for 2026:
“Because the song blends classical music with hip-hop, it felt both nostalgic and like stepping into a completely new genre at the same time. The melody motif was originally written for piano, so it was quite challenging to layer the lyrics and
vocals on top of it. However, going through the process of interpreting the lyrics and the background of the song as it came together was, above all, the most enjoyable part.
In 2026, we hope to become artists who can deliver our music and live performances to an even wider audience in a meaningful way. We are truly happy to know that there are people overseas, including in Southeast Asia, who support us.
While we can’t make any promises just yet, we will continue to refine our daily activities and expressions with the goal of someday being able to deliver our performances directly to you!”
