New Album from Yokohama Ginbae's Johnny

Yokohama Ginbae guitarist Johnny will release a new album on January 28th.

The 67-year-old Masato "Johnny" Asanuma debuted in 1980 with the rock'n'roll band THE CRAZY RIDER Yokohama Ginbae ROLLING SPECIAL. After their initial breakup in 1983, he continued his solo activities into the mid-'80s, when he moved into production work at King Records. He subsequently became a senior executive at the major label.

His comeback album Yokohama Graffiti comes forty years on from his previous solo effort, Yokohama kara I LOVE YOU. It will contain eight tracks, including a self-cover of his debut solo single Like James Dean.
