New Digital Single from Nanase Aikawa

Singer Nanase Aikawa released a new digital single on June 21st.

Watshoy!'s title track, which was produced by BUTAOTOME's polar bear-headed bassist Comp, is intended to celebrate the cultural connections between Japan and Brazil.

The release comes three weeks after Japan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Takeshi Iwaya appointed Aikawa to serve as a national Goodwill Ambassador to Brazil until the end of 2025.

In that capacity, Aikawa is scheduled to appear at Londrina Matsuri, a festival celebrating Japanese-Brazilian culture, in September.
