New Album from MIKADO

Wakayama-based rapper MIKADO released a new album on June 18th.

HOMUNCULUS contains 21 tracks, all of which were produced by frequent collaborator Homunculu$, who also hails from Wakayama. While the album does not feature any guest artists, producers Nova, June, Zot on the Wave and Lion Melo contributed to some of the tracks. The artwork was designed by Tanimachi Fumiya.

In addition, MIKADO has announced that he will be embarking on a nationwide club tour on July 12th. The final date has not been announced just yet.

Ishikoro kara Daiya, a song featured on HOMUNCULUS, can be streamed below, followed by footage of MIKADO and fellow Wakayama rapper 7 performing their collaboration single Flyday at the hip-hop festival POP YOURS earlier this year and the music video for MIKADO's April single ENVY.
